Marisa & Chris are two of the most laid back people I’ve ever met. They have such a peace about them & literally light up when they see each other. Between the pack of unruly geese that weren’t thrilled with us invading their space during portraits & the rain clouds that filled the sky an hour before their ceremony, they just rolled with every surprise that came our way. Right before Marisa headed outside to meet Chris for their first look, the rain started to fall. I offered her an umbrella & she said with a smile “I’m not worried about it if you’re not.” And with that….we walked out in the rain :)

After they shared a sweet moment together, the rain stopped & we took advantage of the sunlight that started peeking through the clouds. I had to drop-kick a few geese during the portraits ( kidding…sort of ;) but their hissing kind of added to the comedy of it all. I am so lucky to work with couples who have a great sense of humor & don’t sweat the small stuff. After being married to my hubby for 8 years, I can tell you those are 2 key ingredients to a long, happy marriage :)

Thanks to Marisa & Chris for letting us share in their joy…I know you guys have an amazing future ahead.
