Kellie... If you’ve been following this blog for a while, you’ve heard me mention my “Eden” girls. Since 2006, I have photographed the wedding of at least one of these gorgeous gals & last year there were two, Delisa & Lauren. Its kind of become a tradition for me to have an “Eden” couple ( please note they do not all live in Eden…its just the name that stuck ;) on the books each year. So with only 2 spaces left for 2010, I have to say I’m still holding out hope that the lucky streak will not be broken! :)
But if this year happens to be the last of this incredible streak of inspiring families from the “Eden” area, there’s noone I’d rather end it with than Kate & Dan. You might recognize Kate from Delisa & Louis’ wedding last fall. She was maid of honor extraordinaire :) It was then that she & her parents Wayne & Debbie approached me about shooting this wedding. I don’t know what it is about all of these “Eden” families, but they are some of the most warm, welcoming, truly wonderful people I’ve ever worked with. They make everything I love about my job just THAT much better. When Wayne & Debbie stopped by the studio to pick-up Kate’s bridal portrait, they talked about how important it was for this day to be perfect for their only little girl, and aside from a little rain…it truly was.
Its hard to believe these two went on their first date before they could ever legally drive a car! They still look at each other with so much love in their eyes…there’s no doubt in my mind that they will grow old & grey together, look back at these pictures & talk about how their reception was the party of the year ( see below :)
Thanks to Kate, Dan, Wayne, Debbie & all of my amazing Eden families…you guys are the best! The past 3 years would not have been the same without you!!

You’ve done it again! I got teared up looking at the pics of Mr. Wayne with Kate and and Mrs. Mary with Dan–gorgeous! These pics really capture the spirit of Kate and Dan–such a fun couple! Can’t wait to see them all!
Well I’ve just relived the most magical day! These make me feel like I’m right back there, jitters and all! And you certainly captured the “party” spirit that infected Clinton that night! Thank you, thank you, thank you for saving these memories for us! I cannot wait to see the rest of them! Absolutely FABULOUS!
