This just might be the mother of all blog posts. I’ve been working on it for days and Leah finally had to make me STOP adding images! I could seriously blog 100 images from Delisa & Louis’s amazing day. Everything about it was pure perfection. It was relaxed, beautiful and so very full of love…I can’t start this post without giving the back-story on how Delisa found me. She’s one of my Eden girls. Let me explain….I am lucky enough to have a few different groups of brides who I have photographed as bridesmaids in quite a few of my weddings, and LOVE getting the calls when they become engaged themselves! My “Eden girls” are one of these groups. It all started with Katie & Seth ( whose wedding was featured in Weddings Unveiled Spring 2007 issue!), then there was Lisa & Cole last August ( Lisa is Delisa’s lovely matron of honor) and now I am thrilled to be featuring Delisa & Louis. This group means a lot to me both personally and professionally. They are the type of clients everyone wants. They’re warm, kind and just plain fun to be around. Delisa’s parents, Kathy & Bill are at the top of that list. The first time I met Kathy, she inspired me beyond words. I had no idea both she and Bill had been battling cancer & when I heard her story it really hit home with me. As some of you readers know, my brother is a cancer survivor. He has a lot in common with Kathy & Bill in that he didn’t let it bring him down..he just kept on fighting with a positive attitude….. and just married his beautiful bride last weekend! As I watched Kathy look on while Delisa danced with Bill, it made me think of how precious each and every moment of family time truly is. I am grateful I could be there to capture these beautiful moments for this special family…What can I say?
