I have been excited about this wedding since Emily booked well over a year ago. After her & Mark’s killer engagement session I knew that I was in for a major treat on the wedding day. Oh, how I love being right… ;)
I have to admit I was a little scared when I saw the haze in the air from the forest fires that had been burning across the coast, and the temperature reading in the car was a toasty 105! But when we arrived to the Inn where Emily was getting ready and were greeted with big smiles and hugs…it was the perfect start to the perfect wedding day. She had music playing and champagne out for her girls, and the minute I saw her Reem Acra gown I was in photo heaven. It was so gorgeous on her teeny frame…like it was made just for her….
And just when I thought my photo heaven was complete, the smoke haze faded and Emily & Mark traded their vows in a lovely ceremony by the water. So, I have put together this special slideshow for them, with a special song that seems to fit their story perfectly. I hope these images give you a peek into the amazing connection Mark & Emily share with each other and their families. They are an extraordinary bunch…and a heck of a lot of fun ( see below )…
Thanks to the talented crew at Into the darkroom for making this slideshow possible. If you’re a photographer and haven’t checked them out, I HIGHLY recommend doing so NOW! HERE is their slideshow. To bring some of you lurkers out of the shadows, I am running a little contest to see who can tell me what’s unique about Emily & Mark’s toast shots. The first 2 people to comment & answer the question correctly will receive their choice of 2-5×7s from any session (assuming you’re a client) or a $25 itunes gift card. Keep in mind you have to watch the slideshow to answer the question! Happy viewing! ( Leah & Jeff…you guys can’t play…sorry!)

LOVE this…that’s her sister, by the way… :)

This one will go down in KKP history as THE favorite family shot of all time. I want to use it for MY christmas card and its not even my family! ;) Seriously…check out Emily’s pregnant sis, Marie…SO cute!
Aren’t these the most amazing eyes you’ve ever seen? This is one of Emily’s beautiful little neices, Antonia…

Congrats guys! We know you have a lifetime of happiness ahead!
These are all great. I love the emotion you captured in the image of her looking up at him.
The slideshow is wonderful! The wedding looks like it was so serene and peaceful…I love it :) The strange thing about the toast pics would be that there is a cute, cuddly animal in the background…hehe..aka a SHARK!! I love how original this couple was in choosing an aquarium for their reception to continue along with the water theme. Best wishes to Emily and Mark!
Christi! I’m so glad you’re one of the winners…thanks for playing! ;) Email me and let me know which of the 2 prizes you’d like!
I’m not going to play along because I’m technically not a lurker anymore, nor am I a client, and it’s already been answered, BUT! I HAVE to say that though the picture in front of the gate is amazing, I love the picture at the end of the slideshow, the heart with the sparkler. I’m a sucker for the long-exposure sparkler shots.
WOW! I love the brides dress and I love the photos of her getting ready! Of course the photo of the entire family is so much fun! Great Wedding!
I love this wedding!!!!!!
Love the starfish boutonnières. So cute… what a beautiful wedding. :)
