What are the odds that we would have 2 beautiful back-to-back weddings with red themes and weather issues? Well, that’s exactly what we had with Meredith & Jon and Jennifer & Brian. I’m lucky to have such great clients because neither of them let the crazy weather put a damper on their day….in fact, we made it work FOR us in their photos…. :)

I’m not sure if Jennifer & Brian even gave a second thought to having to move their ceremony inside at Grandover. I honestly don’t think it mattered much to them WHERE they were saying their “i dos”…they just wanted to proclaim their love for one another and start their lives as Mr & Mrs! To be around these two is to experience love in surround sound. There’s just an energy about them that’s so beautiful. Their ceremony was powerfully personal, and Susan Kennedy did an amazing job officiating. She incorporated their love of travel & ultimate frisbee ( yes, you read it right! :) and had them recite a list of things they love about each other. It was lovely. Here are the pics to tell their story… ( I should mention that it never actually rained during Jennifer & Brian’s ceremony, so we went outside for all of the bridal party pics…yay!) img_8319n.jpgimg_7707.jpgThis is the original outdoor setup, before the threatening clouds drove us inside.. :)img_7713.jpgI adored Jennifer’s Carolina Herrera gown. It was absolutely perfect for her…dress.jpgimg_7698.jpgin_dress.jpgimg_7978.jpgjb.jpgimg_8702.jpgimg_8761s.jpgimg_8104.jpgimg_8187.jpgimg_8215.jpgimg_8792.jpgdance.jpgimg_8887.jpgdance-w-dad.jpgimg_8982.jpgimg_8992.jpgimg_8952.jpgimg_9038.jpgimg_8411.jpgTheir band, Pete & J, were off the hook! They had everyone rockin’ out ’till midnight!img_9206.jpgimg_8521.jpgimg_8558.jpgThis guy obviously did not want them to leave… he chased their Rolls Royce all the way down the driveway! :)img_8594.jpgCongrats Guys! We wish you all the best!

  1. THANK YOU, Kellie. These are gorgeous! I can’t stop looking at them.

  2. I suppose given the broad audience that I should censor the word that usually accompanies the sort of low whistle that I have in mind… but I dare say that’s a good looking bride! Love the dancing shots - thank you so much for capturing our day.

  3. I’m loving all of these and your style, color, everything. The last one is my fav with our latest obsession with blurrific photos. :) -David

  4. a super party with special people,on both sides!
who’s the old guy dancing with jennifer?

  5. The portraits of the two are absolutely stunning! They look so serene, and the colors and tones are gorgeous. The opening portrait, though, is my favorite.

  6. Very nice pictures, I never knew Brian was a good-looking guy until now. I love the image of the Noose getting loose (with Deb in his arms) on the dance floor. The whole wedding was an unstoppable tour-de-force.
