To continue our trend of amazing couples, meet Kathleen & David! These two are such an inspiration & have been so much fun to work with over the past year. When they booked me they were medical students at Wake Forest and now they’re full blown residents at Vanderbilt! We had to schedule their pre-wedding sessions around their trip to Ethiopia with Operation Smile, where they were helping give little ones new smiles. I loved hearing Kathleen talk about the kids they bonded with while they were there. They had one little boy they nick-named “green boots” b/c he always wore the same little green rain boots. She showed me her pictures & it made me wish I could be there to capture these kids’ sweet personalities through my lens. Its on my list of things to do…I’ll get there one day! In the meantime, I love living vicariously through inspirational clients like Kathleen & David. The medical community is very lucky to have these two new docs…I know they have exciting things on the horizon!

Now, onto the juicy wedding details… :) They were married at the gorgeous Graylyn under a beautiful chuppah that the talented ladies of Beverly’s draped for them. They had a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony followed by an insanely fun reception…see below! And don’t forget we love your comments! Enjoy!Kathleen’s Judd Waddell gown was perfect for her… so beautifully classic..While the girls were getting dressed upstairs, the guys were playing pool downstairs..Aren’t their details lovely? I had to include a few of this little cutie. She danced with Kathleen at the reception…so cute! I don’t think they took their eyes off of each other for a single second during the walk.. :)This one is a favorite. I love the way he’s squeezing her hand.. A sweet dance with dad..don’t you think they have the same smile?I love this one of David’s mom during the hora! :)
