Most of you folks who follow the blog know what a crazy year we had at KKP in 2007! All 35 of our weddings were spectacular and I couldn’t have asked for better couples to work with! Its hard to believe we only have a few short months before a brand new season begins. I am SO looking forward to it! We have 29 “off the charts” great couples and are shooting in some of the most fabulous places in the Southeast. In April we will be in the Outer Banks, Asheville at the famous Biltmore Estate , on a mountainside for an intimate ceremony and back on the coast for a Wilmington wedding. The fall will see us all over the map as well, so be sure to check back for the travel posts! In the meantime, I am spending some quality time with my family! My little boys were so supportive of my crazy schedule last year and only left a very few “come home mommy” voicemails on my phone ;) So, we decided to surprise them with a trip to the Proximity hotel over the holidays. One of the greatest things about the Proximity is the fact that it’s a “green” hotel, meaning that they go to great lengths to conserve natural resources and consider our environment in their construction plans. As it is, solar panels heat 60% of their hot water! I highly recommend you check out the Proximity…hopefully the photos will give you an idea of how much fun there is to be had there! Noah checked the beds….While Emery checked the phone ( and most likely made a few calls..;) Apparently the furniture is pretty sturdy.. ( this is what I found after walking out of the bathroom from giving Emery a bath! )How cute is he?The bubble bath was a HUGE hit!The “Honor System” bar in the hallway was really cool.
